Philodendron Common to Rare Plants

dereklobaugh

Updated: Mar 31, 2022

In this post I am going to list the species of the genus Philodendron from common, rare, very rare, extremely rare, and outstandingly rare. This is categorized by how easy it is to get this plant on the market. This does not have anything to do with prices. For example, a common plant could be more expensive than a very rare plant. However, I may do pricing videos in the future. Also, there is not an outstandingly rare plant in every post, but there is one in this post. This is a general guide. For example, what is rare here in the U.S. may not be rare in Europe or Canada. If you see a spelling error in the plants, please let me know in the comments. If you feel I have the wrong photo or information of any plant, please do not hesitate to comment about it! This is mostly a list with little names to give you an idea of what is out there in the world.

And by the way, you might want to have a notepad so you can write down some names of any plants you like!

To get started I will just list a few common Philodendrons. Heart Leaf, Basil, Green Congo
